Hood Asymmetric Spinnaker

Fall 2003:

This was an impulse buy.  A Beneteau 38 returning from Mexico had put it up for sale in Latitude 38 for a very reasonable price. It's about the right size for the Catalina 380.

It's red, white and blue, 3/4 oz nylon and is an easier sail to fly single-handed than the symmetric - specially inside SF bay. For now - it's flown off a fitting on the stem-head. One of these days - I shall get a block set up so that I can adjust the height of the tack.
